Ofsted aims to improve lives by raising standards in education and children’s social care.

Ofsted, the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills, is responsible for inspecting and regulating educational institutions and services that provide learning and skill development for individuals of all ages. In addition to overseeing education, Ofsted also inspects and regulates services that care for children and young people, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and safety.
